A couple of months ago, I replaced my old weathered wiper blades with Anco 64-201 as recommened by Bill NY...however the first time out of course, we left in the rain. Evidently my wiper arms don't provide enough down-force, because the only thing getting wiped is the 2" on the very ends of the blades. Heck, just having a big rig blowing by will lift the blades in it's wake vortex. Too bad I didn't Rain-X the windshield either...my bad. What is the most practical way to get those blades to flatten out? I don't believe I can bend the arms enough to do the job without hiring an indigent worker to ride on the front bumper and apply hand pressure (only when it is raining of course). That would present a new set of problems...proper seating, safety harnesses, extra liability insurance, meal allowances, rest breaks...the list goes on.

I used a "wiper arm tension spring attachment" to solve the problem in the past. I found a universal type at a truck stop similar to the link:
