I have been getting a hot/burning electrical smell from the dash of our 94 Breakaway and have traced it to the Heater Control Panel. Does anyone have any idea where I can find a replacement control panel? "Keep On Truckin" 94 30' Breakaway #3866 5.9 cummins on spartan chassis

It's a Chrysler/Acme unit. Search the forums, as there is a place that can repair or furnish new. However, I don't know of any part that would cause such a smell except possibly the A/C switch (engages the compressor clutch). The radio is in that area, and could produce odors. I pulled the heater control today and it was definitely the source of the burning/electrical smell. The controller casing was melted and the push buttons were frozen. I found an exact new replacement on E-bay for $45. It is a 90 Cordoba New Yorker A/C Heater Control Switch. Part Brand: Dodge Manufacturer Part Number 3847712 Interchange Part Number 3847742 I'd post a picture but I still can't access Photobucket. well done and good presentation. The same vacuum control is used on many Chrysler products. looks to be the same one as on my 1995 Dodge B3500 Pleasure-Way.
