You can measure the tank and get an approximate capacity - there are ~231 cu. in./gallon. My 1985 25' Regal has two fuel tanks: the rear-mounted 40 gal. steel Chevy tank between the frame rails, and an aftermarket 50 gal aluminum tank mounted on the passenger side of the frame rail between the door and the front right tire. Chevy put a side-mounted 50 gal steel tank on all chassis prior to 1977, when we switched to the rear-mounted 40 gal tank. The Coach builders quite often removed this 50 gal tank and reused it at different location on the chassis, or sold it to another Coach builder for them to use. Jake Jacobson | ||||
