Richard_MuiseBad brakes... Return of the Turd Fairy
Took the Barth to my mechanic for Spring tuneup. It took him all of 15 seconds to not that my front left rotor was nearly cracked through and I had a bad master cylinder. Fortunately Spartan had the parts; for about $1500 because you replace them in pairs. More fun,

Ham Radio HF MobileGood morning, Richard;
Yes, it does happen. New Year's Day, the right front disc brake rotor on the 2002 Subaru Outback just split in two; inside and outside. I did not know that could happen.
Sometimes owning mechanical (and some electrical or electronic) devices can present to you a real surprise.
Even with the motor home, I have found it beneficial to put on the coveralls and slide underneath with some wrenches in hand just look around at things. There were some surprises the first time I did this when I found some nuts and bolts that were several threads loose. Thinking back that I had driven that motor home over 500 miles to get it home on 2013 October 18 made me think that I must have had a guardian angel riding along with me.
Enjoy;
