I have a section or two of my ceiling that starting sagging more noticeably this past year due to a water leak on the roof. I would like to push it back up and attach a strip of reinforcing metal similar to existing which is attached by several screws driven into the ceiling joist or rafters. My problem is that I'm not sure what I would be driving screws into. Does anyone know what kind of support is between the roof and the ceiling?? I have seen some of the old pictures of Barths on the assembly line and what looks like metal/ Al rafters but am unsure and don't know the spacing. Has anyone out there rebuilt their ceilings?? I'm pretty sure Nick Cagle did a ceiling job on his Barth a while back. Search his threads. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp | |||
