Having problems with my 12v system. No power to front monitor panel, steps, gas valve or interior. All works fine with motor running.

Does anyone have a diagram of 12v wiring so I can trace to find the problem, or does anyone have an idea where problem may be. (common cause etc.)

Have 30ft 1993 Bart.

Thanks!

Joe

Sounds like the 12V master switch, usually near the door, is off or the relay could be bad.

Would be helpful if you posted the model of your Barth as the relays were mounted in different places depending on model. For example my Breakaway has it mounted under the bed in front of the engine close to the AC distribution panel.

Thanks! I have a '93 Barth Breakaway - also a 30'. There is a lot of electrical wires and devices under the front of my back bed. Which device would be the relay?

Ok mine is mounted on the far lower left kneeling on the carpet. Looks like a Ford starter relay except it need to be constant duty.

If you have some one turn the switch up front on and off you should be able to hear it, unless of course the wire is off. If you hear nothing, using a volt meter you should be able see 12vdc at the pick terminal when the switch is turn on.

So first check the switch to make sure you have 12vdc on one of the switch terminals, then turn on the switch and you should have power on both sides of the switch (if not bad switch). Now go to the rear find you relay.
