I have a Kubota D905-86817 engine coupled to a Kohler generator on my Breakaway. Haven't been successful thus far in locating the correct glow plugs. The part number I've been able to come up with is 16851-65512(Kubota number). I did order after market plugs off the internet and the shank was too small(threaded part was to narrow). Had to send them back. A Kubota distributor has given me the same part number as well. I had them text a picture of the plug laying by a ruler for comparison to what I took out of the engine....again their offering doesn't have the same dimensions. Had trouble getting the little diesel to start and found two of the three glow plugs not heating up.
Anyone out there had to replace their glow plugs on this type/model engine and is so, what part number worked for you?

Ordered some more from another dealer. The same part number was referenced and is spec'd by Kubota for that engine. The after market ones were cheap in price and were not Kubota or NGK plugs. Should get the plugs by tomorrow.

Kubota

In every Kubota I have ever owned, there have never been "Kubota" glow plugs. NGK glow plugs are Kubota standard.
Look on the side of the plug for the numbers since you have removed them already. It will tell you the brand and the number. You may need a magnifying glass to read the numbers. You can also use an iPhone to take a picture of the number and enlarge the picture on your screen.

Took a look at that early on. The only numbers/letters stamped into the plugs are "11V 2F". No other info on the plugs.

Was hoping one of the members out there with the same engine wouldn't mind pulling a plug to give me the part number for an NGK glow plug.

Have three coming this week from a distributor(Kubota). Although the part number they supplied is the same from the aftermarket plugs I ordered on the internet. The plugs being shipped are NGK. Hopefully these are what I need.

Thanks for the responses.
