Paul And JaimeTransmision Cooler fitting question.
Hey folks, just finished (almost) reinstalling the new rebuilt th400 in the Barth (Quite the job without a transmission jack), And I need to replace the cooler because of contamination.
1. Any recommendations on a good stacked plate cooler?
2. Do they make a fitting that will screw into the factor adapters on the transmission to go to AN line (I know they make a fitting that will screw into the case, but I mean to leave the factor fittings in) OR should I just flair some new steel line and then use rubber right before I get to the new cooler?
Thanks guys and gals.

billyt53Tekonsha used to offer a nice stacked plate cooler, I installed many back in the day. The fittings are barbed, I think I still have one from old inventory.

Do they make a fitting
short answer, "yes". The part to deal with, is answering what connections at each end, then finding, "who has it".
Dorman makes a cooler for the Workhorse P30 chassis of this century, 9185602:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8458804"Earl's" is a brand owned by Holley and they have many fluid line adapters:
https://www.holley.com/brands/earls/Summit has a "selector tool" so you can pick by the dimensions of the cooler, as well as the fittings. Here's a relatively cheap example, but I don't like the hose fittings:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hda-679If you can come up with a solution that uses steel lines the entire way, and brass adapters, that would be ideal.
Happy Motoring!
