Most commonly they are connected to the water heater to heat water while underway.

Sometimes there is a cabin heater in the rear of the coach to heat the interior while underway.

Downside, the engine temp is around 100 C and almost too hot for hot water use. If the hoses break underneath it is hard to tell and engine can be damaged. hmm

Righto-Biteto Steve mine go to the hot water heater and another set go to an auxiliary cabin heater. Hoses are old and if they do start to leak I am sure the coolant will be gone like lightening.

My auxiliary heater is under the couch in the back of the coach. Look around the area above the differential inside the coach for an air outlet or a cabinet door with an air grid in it.

Good possibility that all you have is water heater assisted heat. You may not have rear heat. Do the hoses come thru the floor where the water heater is?

The Euro had the hot water assist. Steve is right about HOT. We often still had hot water after stopping for a night the next morning.
