Is it possible to install airbags on an early 90's Breakaway? Is it worth doing? I'm looking for the nicest ride possible, seems odd that Breakaways don't have bags.

When I sold my 88 33' Regel for the 92 Breakaway I had the same idea. I checked with two RV shops and the answer was "anything is possible at a cost". Since I didn't do my own work I gave up on the idea and in time "THE TOY" just got smoother and smoother.................Carl

IMHO think again! I have a 93 with Graining air suspension all around after a GMC bus with air bags. the shorter wheel base, longer overhang in the rear and narrower stance particularly in the front enhance the drawbacks to air suspension. It tends to porpoise in dips, and roll in the turns and crossing things like railroad tracks at an angle gives a side to side roll that will dump every thing on the floor. Have double shocked it on all four corners with HD shocks and that helps a lot, it does ride smooth on the road, and since the Breakaway with the 190hp likes 55mph only the angling of bumps causes real problems. The system its self is trouble free and seems to have the original air bags from 93, this was a factory installed system.
