Tom, does the header wrapping cause early corrosion? Thorley voids their warranty if you use either header wrap or header blankets. They will sell you ceramic coated headers that they claim operate at several hundred degrees less than their non-ceramic headers.

Here is the company who makes our manifold blankets:http://www.atpwrap.com/html/motorcoach.html Though they relate to diesels, the product works just as well on gas manifolds, pipes and even mufflers. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny

We make our headers out of stainless steel so corrosion is not an issue. We have not seen problems with the wrap product but most people keep their cars inside. You can find 454 stainless headers (http://www.stans-headers.com/gm_headers.htm) here for under $600. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny
