Tom, does the header wrapping cause early corrosion? Thorley voids their warranty if you use either header wrap or header blankets. They will sell you ceramic coated headers that they claim operate at several hundred degrees less than their non-ceramic headers.

Though they relate to diesels, the product works just as well on gas manifolds, pipes and even mufflers.
