Lenny you didn't say if the rest would fire up. Start with the stove, lite the two front burners then the back two, if the back 2 make the front flames smaller you are probably out of propane. Have fun Tom

You may have to remove it, but talk to a RV repair facility first. If your blower is quiet, your problem may be correctable without removing the furnace. There are a number of safety devices in the furnace to insure that everything works properly in the sequence of start up, operation & shutdown. The fact that you can keep it running by reducing the airflow suggests something is awry in that system.

Been there, done that with removing both my furnaces, one of which I replaced, the other of which I took to a repair facility to have a new motor installed. Presuming your furnace is under the couch, as mine was, I first removed the outside cover, raised the couch for access to the furnace from inside, disconnected the ducts, electrical feed, & propane lines (making certain first that the propane was shut off & all the gas bled out of the lines) then unscrewed the several sheet metal screws that fastened the furnace to the wooden deck, & withdrew the furnace from the outside. Replacement was the reverse of removal.
