On the way to and from the Washington GTG, I noticed a noise coming from the differential when I let off the gas pedal while traveling around 50,55,or60 MPH. I have the same problem in my old Volvo. When I had all the front end work done, the front of the Barth was raised almost 3". Could this have caused the drive shaft to be at the wrong angle causing the noise? The noise definitely started after the alignment work which included new shocks in the front, new springs etc. Thanks Jim

Are you sure it's the diffy? Check the universals and the spline (grease tham after), and diffy fluid level (alignment wouldn't have affected that - but there's a slight chance the universals are a bit stiff and damaged the seal.) A leak is easy to spot. Anyway, the re-do of the front wouldn't directly cause the problem, but it may have revealed another one. The universals should compensate for any misalignment.
