I just got back from Thailand and the Barth was in better shape than other years. The water heater did not work, has been great on Gas for two years but not on 110V. I replaced the Electric heater last year just before I left but with no success. So I called the guy to come over and look, 10am he said, so at 9:30 I hear a whoosh and the gas is running. Well let him look at the 110V. First thing he does is check, element good, no power. Where is the switch, I don't have one, he said yes you do... How about that one with the indicator, nope it is for the Engine heater. Lets try he said, and we have power.

I thought it was for the engine heater, so we check the outlet plug in the engine compartment, and it is NOT connected to the switch.

So for the past two years, the 110V heater has worked sometimes (but only when I thought I was heating the Engine) and I have had the Engine block heater plugged in and turned on anytime I was connected to shore power.

Duh......
