I have 375 hours on mine and have had no mecanical problems. I use the gen. mostly for roof air to get to our destination. Replaced several switches due to our soggy Florida weather. I'm replacing the gen's rubber mounts tomorrow......

I'm more familiar with 6500 Onans. The life expectancy for them was more like 2000 hours.

Living down here in the south central states, we have to use A/C most of the time from May to end of September. On our recent trip to Corpus, we ran the Kohler from 8am to whenever we parked for the nite...sometimes 12 hours straight.

I'd expect even more than 2000 hours from an LP unit. I know that back in the 1970's, you could expect double the life from an LP fueled vehicle versus a gas vehicle. Around here, LP became popular when gas doubled in 1973.

My generator that is probably the same as yours. Picture would be helpful. 925 hours presently and I don't expect a demise anytime soon.
