Any recommendations/sources for replacement springs for the front end.

Any recommendations/sources for replacement air conditioner condenser?

That would be close to Bangor Maine.

Thank you all.

I'd be interested, too, as I have a chronic leak in my system, and it may be in the evaporator or condenser.

Air conditioning condensers in other-than mass-produced factory options tend to be generic. There are a number of companies that deal with after-market a/c installations. A Google search might produce a source.

I recommend that you contact Spartan, they have a lot of parts and by VIN number they can send you the correct springs. I queried them about front springs and found that they have an upgraded set for my chassis, nothing wrong with mine I just needed to replace the eyelets at both ends which I did with the springs in place doing each end one by one.

A/C? No clue.

Problems pretty much solved.

We found BRAKE SERVICE & PARTS here in Bangor Me and they have taken on the problems.

1) Air conditioner condenser not broken. It was the transmission cooler which has now been replaced. It is a standard Allison transmission part.

2) Front springs to be fixed with additional leaf parts inserted.

In searching the web, I found an interesting article stating that the passenger side springs are usually the ones to go first because US roads are crowned to promote drainage. The constant tilt puts more pressure on the passenger side -- and here I thought it was a few too many munchies on my part. Interesting about the springs.

Someone in one of the post mentioned that his Barth had an extra leaf in one of the springs and he thought it might be due to the refrigerator weight on that side. Could be road crown effect?

Anyway -- thanks to all who helped.
