Could one of you Breakaway owners, 92 or earlier, with the Dana 80 rear diff, measure the track of the front tires? That would be the measurement center to center of the front tires. Wheels as close to straight ahead as possible.

You are probably wondering what the Dana 80 has to do with the front measurement, it is that the Dana 80 was in the earlier Spartan chassis and that is the measurement that I am looking for.

TIA

Thanks Mike, that clears another mystery of the various years of Barth!

Mine is the later chassis with the larger Eaton drop center diff and it measures 83.25".

It appears that Spartan used the same steering components and because of that the steering geometries on mine was all messed up. I am still doing a write-up on my steering changes and that, for those of you interested, should clarify what I am addressing.

Hey Ed,

I have a 94 Breakaway 33' on a Spartan Chassis. The original owner left me all the documentation. Let me know if you need anything.
