I have been searching for a diagram of the switching for my power mirrors. I see many pages with mirror on them but thought someone might know what mirrors Barth put on the Regencies in 1993. I think I have a problem and need to test without the switch made in Holland. Thanks in advance, Tom 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny

I think most are Vel-Vac. I may have the manual - will look tomorrow. They may be by Ramco. I sent Vel-Vac the following email with pictures attached: I have 38 ft 1993 Barth Regency. I believe the two mirrors are by Velvac and am in need of some information. Attached are two pictures of these mirrors. I have the following questions. 1. Can you tell me what the model and year are for these two mirrors? 2. Can a flat mounting base be purchased for the driver’s side mirror? 3. What is the material they are made from? 4. Can longer arms be purchased? I hope you can help me out with these. Here is the response from Vel-Vac: The mirrors pictured are not Velvac mirrors. They probably are mirrors made by a Velvac competitor, Ramco Engineering. Tim La Bonte Velvac Inc Technical Service / Warranty 800 783 8871 x301 I then sent a similar inquiry to Ramco and here is their reply: I have a 1993 38 ft Barth Regency. The mirrors on it are polished aluminum. I am attaching pictures of them, one before I polished them and one after. I need to know if they are one of yours and, if so, I have the following questions: 1. What model are they?[Amy Dean] They are our 6002 series mirrors 2. Can replacement glass mirrors be purchased?[Amy Dean] yes 3. Is a new flat mounting base available?[Amy Dean] These are 9” mounts, and they are still available 4. They are rather old and the mirror head is stuck to the arm. How can they be removed for polishing and replacement?[Amy Dean] The arms might be seized into the heads. Spray WD40 and let it set for a while. 5. Can a longer arm be purchased?[Amy Dean] we have 15” arms or 18” arms. 6. What can be done to protect the surface to prevent corrosion?[Amy Dean] We do not have any type of sealer for our mirrors. 7. The flat mirror is attached with Velcro. How is the convex mirror attached?[Amy Dean] it is also attached with Velcro to an Aluminum plate that is silicone to the motor. 8. What technical data is available?[Amy Dean] What data are you looking for? I later inquired about pricing and availability of various parts. All parts are available and not very expensive. Based on the mounting in his avatar, Tom's are probably Ramco. Here is the switch. You are looking at the back of the Joy Stick switch and you will note the cut out or "hat" at the top. This was for a connector that was never used or installed by Ramco or Barth. Ramco used, and still does, a gray cable with 5 wires of 18 to 20 gauge wire. They are connected as follows:The colors in the photo are not actually the true colors. On the left side of the switch is Black. This is switched +12vdc. The next wire moving clockwise is Green, then Brown then white. White is the ground or -12volts. The next, on the bottom, is the Red wire. The Green, Brown and Red control the mirror movement. The reason they use switched power is the black wire provides 12vdc to both the mirror movement and the heater and if you forget to turn off the heater you can run your batteries down in a few hours. Should you need a new switch or cable call Ramco and speak with Technical Support and tell them it is Ramco 6002 series mirror. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny
