WHY: quote: 2/06 Replace step light with red

Red light can be seen at levels low enough to prevent night blindness. Aircraft cockpit lighting is often red to help see in darkness. I suspect Rusty wants to see more stars!

I go to a lot of star parties in the Barth, and only red lights are permitted, as Steve noted, due to red being the least-disruptive of night vision.

I also have blackout curtains so I can use white light inside the coach. The front overhead light also gets a red filter at star parties. When I go in or out at night, only the red lights are on.
