While re-working my dash on the Regency I found the original black plastic defrost louvers had become brittle and the ends cracked. I traced these to Cary products, a Texas firm, and am going to call and see if they have or can reproduce the units. Mine have the number 886 molded into them. If anyone else has the same need let me know so I can estimate how many we need, in case they have to set up a new run. They look like lots I have seen in pictures from many Barths and other SOB's.

Mine were also cracked, but I used my formula plastic cement (50-50 MEK-acetone) and fixed them.

But I'd like a new pair.

Mine are also 886s. Most of my cracks are where the flathead screws split the plastic. The repairs have held - I used hex-head screws.

As a precaution and so as not to mislead anyone I plan to talk with the company and get a person's name and then post that so each person who needs a set can call and handle their own needs. That way if there are other plastic parts that they make and you need you can talk with them without an intermediary. I will get the inquiry done tomorrow.

Update: I can get these shipped to my company in a batch of 50 for $14.95 each. A lesser number raises the price. They made these for about 25 years for lots of MOHO's. I estimate mailing these to be about $1.50 per set so let me know how many want 'em at a total cost of about $16.50 each or $32 per set. They do not come with new screws and are black. When I get the number I can order and you can send personal checks and I will give you the payee by Private Message on this site. If you want contact by e-mail we can work this out.

Mine are cracked too. I will pull them off and check the number tonight. I am in the middle of making a new aluminum center dash panel to accept the new Pioneer F900BT Nav/Radio so I am spending a lot of time in 'er lately.
