Does anyone have any thoughts about average running and grade climing max temperatures for a 30' breakaway? Also does anyone have an idea of the cost to get a Breakaway radiator re-corded?

Yup I do. Just came across I70 up to 11,000'+ with no problems, but with a new radiatior.

I got the last new Radiator from spartan. $1300 shipped in. A quote on a recore was almost the same. That did not include my labor to remove and install the new one. Add a few hundred more for that.

Thanks for your feed back Gary. What are your normal operating temps on flat road and climbing?

Normal temp is about 185 controlled by the thermostat. It did go up to 210 on a long uphill pull, but settled down quickly. That was the only time on the trip I saw over 200 and we had a number of long pulls.
