Do you know the max pressure on your wheels?

I have a Pressure Pro tire monitoring system and a temp gun. The system take all of the guess work out of tire pressure levels. You can check it before you take off and check each tire as you are going down the road. It alerts you if pressure drops by 10% and again at 20%. It has kept me from driving on a tire that lost pressure one nite while traveling, thus saving me from ruining a $400 tire. Cost for the system for 6 tires on the bus and 4 on the jeep was around $700. In our travels i have found that the tire pressure increases about 10-12% due to heating up going down the road. Part of that depends on air and pavement temps of course.

Shadowman, How do you like your "Pressure Pro" TPMS? How accurate is the temp reading on it?
Is it the type that allows you to add air to the tire right through the sensor? How long do the batteries last on the sensors? Thanks in advance for helping out....

I love it! It only tells you the pressure, not the temp. You have to take the sensor off to add air. The batteries are supposed to last up to 5 years if i remember right. When we are in any place for more than a few days i take mine off so that they are not sending a signal and that should make the batteries last longer. Smiler
