I'm replacing the 4" dia hose that goes from the air box located underneath the front bumper of my '85 Regal, 454, quadrajet. I have the plastic piece that transitions from the oval opening on the air cleaner to 4" round. Can I use regular aluminum dryer vent hose or would the high heat in the area dictate something like stainless or silicon? Previous owner had some very heavy duty flexible hose but it has broken and needs replaced. Jim

Yup. Just check it for chafing now and then. I have used it for years. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered | |||
