My '90 regal has had the rear bumper replaced, but the black corrugated plastic end caps present on the front bumper are missing on the rear. Does anyone know of a source/price for these items? Roy Wilson '90 Regal SE 33' P30

Hi Roy, Lee Merriman mmerriman@aol.com either told me he had or knew someone who had a garage full. It was a long time ago but give it a shot. ------------------ [This message has been edited by davebowers (edited April 03, 2004).]

I tried to contact Dave's source and could not get hold of him. I made my own which I showed Bill NY this summer. Bill G and I may make a mold to produce them from fiberglass this winter. In the meantime, if you're handy, get some plaster of paris and make a positive of a bumper guard. Make sure you coat the original bumper guard with cast wax or WD 40 before you encase it in plaster. When the plaster dries, carefully remove the bumper guard from the plaster. Put some WD40 on the plaster cast. Then mix up some fiberglass resin. Paint it onto the plaster cast with a disposable paint brush. Then force fiberglass cloth into the cast. Apply two more layers of the cloth, allowing time for drying between coats. Smash the plaster off and pain it black. OR wait for Bill and I to make a mold. We may go into limited bumper guard production this winter. They'll be cheap!
