beeohdash air..to fix or to not fix?
looking for some opinions on if I should have my non-working dash air repaired or just leave it as is and use genny and roof air when temps are high. I will need to repair a split hose (too close to exhaust) purge system and have coolant replaced and compressor checked. It really wasn't all that great when it was working but we did use it. Just don't know if its worth spending the money on it. Just looking for other's experience, thanks. We like to travel in the south west and mexico in the winter months when temps aren't all that bad.

RustyI sewed a curtain that shuts off the rear 2/3 of the coach, so the dash air stands a chance, and it helps a great deal.
However, that aside, the big advantage to the engine A/C compressor is the dehumidifying and keeping the windows from fogging.

Gary CarterPersonal opinion is repair. If it is a R12 system you can buy red tech in Canada or envro-safe (what I use)down here.
I have run both roof and dash when really hot.
