That switch could be for an electric heating element (if the tank mentioned is inside) or to keep the fresh water tank from freezing if the tank is external.

On mine, the one by the door is the 12VDC cutout switch.

Hi -- Switched the mystery switch on an opened a faucet -- no pump noise. So I'm guessing it's not an additional water pump switch. And so I put the switch back into the off position.

The mystery switch has been in the off position since we bought our Barth with the exception of occasional switching on to see if anything happens. Originally I thought it might be a kill switch of some sort but it stays turned off. Seems a funny thought to turn the switch on to activate a cutoff? I am so out of my league on this one.

Well anyway, it's back off, nothing is smoking, and I'm hoping its purpose is to keep the water tank from freezing in the winter.

4500 miles on our trip and loving our Barth.

Thanks to all and God bless.
