RustyTell us more - what are you trying to adapt to what?
If the 30A shore power connector to a household receptacle, they're available at Wal-Mart and RV stores.

Tom JohnsI'm going out on a limb here. Go to a camping or marine store and get a female 30 amp adapter to a 15 amp male plug and have at it.

Can you post a picture of the plug on your cord and the receptacle in your garage?
Can you read a NEMA number on either the outside or inside?
Does it match up to one of
THESE? Be careful. It could be for a higher voltage dryer or a welder, etc. Do you have a voltmeter?
