I have electric wiper motors and wonder if there is an adjustment on them to control where wiper parks when shut off? Both go to the right on shut down but passenger side doesn't go all the way and stops just past center. This is in the line of sight of my co-pilot and she's not happy. At one time it would stop farther over. Bob and Jan Orr Canadian Barth owners 94 30ft. Breakaway/3116 Cat/ Allison 5 speed/ Gillig

Your linkage might be getting gummed up a little.

Try removing the wiper motors from the dash and checking the mechanism. Mine had missing bolts. R.P.Muise 1994 Breakaway/Cummins 5.9/Allison transmission/Spartan Chassis

Having the same problem as Beeoh except the drivers side. Wiper is also "parking" in the middle of the windshield. Took the motor out and found that all the linkages are nice and tight. Put the motor/bracket in a vise and put battery voltage to the "S" terminal. Motor runs great. What actually controls the motor to "park"?. Is it a function of the switch(on the dash)? Or is it a combination of the switch and contacts in the motor? Is there a method to use in order to get the motor to function properly while bench testing it? Contacted Mill Supply, but am reluctant to trash this motor as it is an original and is probably more solidly built than a Chinese made replacement. All technical suggestions are welcome.

Check my link, above - I labelled the motor terminals' functions. I had the same problem when I first got the Breakaway. I also did not like that both wipers did not rest in the center of the windscreen. I removed the passenger's side motor assembly and found the found the link between the motor and the arm badly worn. I rotated the arm that attached to the motor 180 degrees and reassembled. I replaced the same link on the drivers side. Now both wipers park in the middle and are very close to identical distances from the center. I do have to replace the outer assembly at some time in the future as they are also getting badly worn. To answer the other question about the motor control-the motor stop position is controlled by a switch on the motor assembly and in combination with the wiper switch. The position is only determined by the motor switch Ed 94 30' Breakaway #3864 30-BS-6B side entry New Cummins 5.9L, 375+ HP Allison 6 speed Spartan chassis K9DVC Tankless water heater
