The chumps renovating my 1990 22ft Regal apparently removed this, in order to do some work under the vehicle (including replacing the compartment next to the door and general underselling) and cannot now tell me where it belongs. Never ever use RV Oregon of Lake Oswego!!

Can you get another picture, and size it so it shows up more readily in the window size we are working with? It is hard to judge the size of the object given the angle as well. I am guessing it is a heat shield, perhaps for the propane tank, or a solenoid, from heat radiating from the exhaust pipes. Matt

Dimensions would be helpful. It does look like a heat shield probably/possibly made by prev. owner. I have a smaller one on the 25' we have that is between the continuous duty solenoid mounted on the inside chassis rail near my steps. It protects the solenoid from that radiant heat from the ehxaust pipe. Save that because you may find where it should be & want to remount it. Tere

It looks like the heat shield that protects the charcoal canisters for the gas tank evap system. Three Times A Charm 88 30' Regal John Deere Hot Rod Lincoln 511 Cubic Inches 8712-3499-30J-A

Actually Jim or Tere is right, the shield that shielded the evap canisters was on my John Deer chassis. I was checking out the Music Mobile which is a GM p30 something and found that same shaild protcting the battery relay that connects the coach and house batteries. I tried to post you a picture but it was way too big so I deleted it. If you send me your email in a P.M. I will be happy to send it to you.
