Engine mounting
My mechanic tells me that I need to change the engine mountings on my Barth. He also tells me that he can't locate a source for them. Aren't they suppose to be standard since it's a Spartan frame? Can we get them from NAPA? If yes, does somebody have the part number?

Thank you

If you call Spartan with the last six digits of your VIN, chances are they can provide either the part itself or the part number.

I got my spring bushings and shackles through them, and last week they provided the part nember for the radiator upper tank.

I have the same issue and is on my "things to do" list, I was going to call Spartan, as Rusty suggested as well, they seem to either have the parts or a good cross reference. Their prices are quite compatable with local sources.

THREAD DRIFT ALERT! Ed, I recall you were combatting a tail-wag issue. I had the spring bushings and shackles replaced on my coach, and it made a noticeable (but not dramatic) difference in handling (I've put about 1200 miles on it since).

The old ones weren't toast, just showing initial signs of deterioration.

So you might want to put them on your list for Spartan if you haven't already...

Thanks Rusty! Yes I already have the bushings, just not the bandwidth to replace them yet.
