The high-pressure air line connecting the air compressor to the air dryer has sustained a puncture and is leaking air rather aggressively.

This line is approximately half-inch in diameter, steel braided and about 5 and half feet long.

Where does one procure such a line? Is this something that can be "made" or purchased as-is with the "ends" attached?

Any direction is greatly appreciated...

The rule-of-thumb is that most any hydraulic repair outfit can fabricate the line. If the connectors are oddball, most can salvage the old ones.

Truck repair shops also frequently deal with this issue, and may actually have off-the-shelf parts that'll work.

Down here we have a place called Morehose. Not sure if this is a franchise but they make any kind of hose, usually while you wait.
