Hello,

Anyone ever repair or replace their house heaters? The one in the back still works okay but the one in the front makes some horrendous noises and only works occasionally.

Thanks,
Matt

Often it is only the fan motor that gets noisy and fails. Here is a thread on changing fan motors.

If you want to change the whole thing it is fairly easy. Drill out 6 rivets, disconnect wires and ducts. Pull to the inside…

The plastic door you are holding can be fixed also. Drill out the old rivets on the plastic hinge and use an inner tube to make new hinges. You should use large head rivets pictured here.
