we are very lucky in bc to have hydro-elect.All over the world they should do nuclear as france does they have an impeccable record, being up to only 4%waste.also have satellite stations saving all those long transmission lines,as superman is to busy riding with lois lane.By the way japan had a major- major earthquake, with a few bad luck situations.I take Pride take in my Barth. a few dollars will save fungus which is life threatening, not smoking or drinking makes it affordable.Wally34ft monarch van isle

Larry I fully agree with you !Iwas fortunate to get an Arizona well maintained unit that was under cover, notwithstanding that they store hundreds of aircraft because of ideal humidity.Don Malcom kept my unit in his barn till selling it to me Even though it isn't covered anymore I probably have one of the best kept Barths. When they are undercover one can monitor the opening of windows and vents accordingly. How many of you use dri-eze?just curious.Wally 1996 34ft pristine Barth-van-isle

Later Barths have aluminum interior panelling (at least mine does). The headliner, however, is Luan-based. Moisture in the interior - not trapped in the voids) is an issue in many places - I keep the A/C on (with the thermostat turned up) - and run it manually if the ambient isn't high enough to kick it on. Otherwise, I have a mildew farm. Given all of the emphasis on mold prevention and abatement here in Florida, I am seeing condos being built with dehumidifiers added to the air handler with separate controls. I have been in one recently that was set to 50 percent with the temperature set at 80 and ceiling fans running and I felt cold. The monthly utility bill is very low. I have no idea what the dehumidifier cost. Tom Taylor
