AS most of you know, my Barth did not have a data tag. I have looked at similar Breakaway units on data tags and they seem to say that it should be 80 front and 90 back. I have Toyo tires that show a 105 max psi. Should I have them set at 80 front and 90 back? My son is a trucker. His mech is experienced on the big stuff and says more than that. Like I am not hauling 40K loads. So, for a 94 Breakaway XL, ? I did discover today that my RR inner tire and wheel did not have an extended valve stem so that I could check the pressure. Standard guage would not work as there is a slight angle from the hole in the front wheel to the inner wheel. So. I bought a steel braided extender that clamps to the outer wheel. Tom Tom Taylor

GET RID OF THE EXTENDERS... I had been warned not to use them. My inside duals were a awful to get to so I installed extenders. Hey they sell them, they must work. On the way back from Millford GTG one of them failed. I now have what are called Gattor caps. They are a self sealing valve stem cap. So far I been happy with them. I went to my local Goodyear truck store and told them I was looking for somthing that I didn't have too remove the caps. These seal even if the schader valve leak. The saleman gave me 6 of them for free. Now I can just push the air gauge on and check my air presure in a few minutes. My data tag calls for 70 PSI, I run 80 PSI. If it a harsher ride I can't tell. If You search this you will find others warning about extenders. I was lucky and caught mine before I lost my tire. My warning is to GET RID OF THE EXTENDERS. 1986 31' Regal -1976 Class C 454/T400 P30 -350/T400 G30 twin cntr beds - 21' rear bath

I have toyo's also. I weighed the coach at each corner and went to toyo chart for my size (8r 19.5) and it worked out to 85psi for each tire. I've been to Fort Leonard Wood and the Fla GTG and got 10 mpg all the way even with a slippery trans. Hope this helped. Wayne
