I have had a nightmare that I am driving along and my battery tray falls to the ground. I am sure it is manufactured by the same company that manufactured the generator slide. I have not been able to find the exact supplier. but here are some guys who make custom tray slides. http://www.innovative-industries-inc.com/RV-HomePage.htm http://www.kwikee.com/batTraysize.html ------------------ Shortcuts Always Take Longer [This message has been edited by davebowers (edited January 08, 2003).]

Dave, It might be the bean dip that's causing the nightmares.

Dave, Did you have a problem with your generator tray falling out? I tried to roll mine out so I could change the plugs in the engine and when I removed the bolts, the tray wouldn't move out. I'm sure it's just stuck with crud but I chickened out on trying to roll it out because that sucker must be heavy. Should it be ok if I can get it loose? Keith Williams

No Keith, I have a problem with my battery tray. It has slightly bowed in the center and a screw that is there gets caught on the frame when I try to slide it back in. So I have to get down and push up the center when I slide it in. I have noticed substantial rust so I am getting a little nervous. About 4 on a scale of 1-10. ------------------ Shortcuts Always Take Longer

Ok Dave, Now I understand. If you could find a piece of steel about 1/8 " thick cut to the size of your tray and just lay it in there I wonder if that would help your problem? Does your gen set sit on a slide out tray? Keith
