Were electric leveling jacks ever installed by the factory?

I think they were USUALLY installed by the factory -- a $3,085 option on 1992 Breakaway. I'm guessing few of the diesels were made without. If water meter guy means electric in lieu of hydraulic, then I misunderstood. Indeed, the Breakaway option price sheet referred to the manual leveling jacks as "hydraulic".

Were they ever electric, though? The HWHs are hydraulic, I think. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

I can see where the confusion could arise. The HWH levelers themselves are hydraulic rams that support the coach. The control levers are standard hydraulic valves. The hydraulic pressure is generated by an electric pump, though. I have seen some electric jacks on SOB coaches that are essentially screw type scissors jacks with an electric motor where the jack handle normally goes. I haven't seen these on any Barth. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp
