Hi everyone.

The sewage holding tank is beginning to leak due to rust. We have a 1984 Euro. Any suggestions as to how to remedy the problem. Can we patch it with say Bondo for instance. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, from what you are saying, the holding tank would be made of metal, and if it's rust, I would assume steel. To me this would be a first. Every tank I have ever known of was a plastic [ABS?] of some sort. There are a number of threads here pertaining to holding tank repair, including one of mine that drew out for an entire summer before I finally got a new tank after trying to fiberglass the old one [apples and oranges] about 6 times. I now know there are ABS plastic repair kits available, but I'm not going to tell you they will fix your problem. I'll let someone else take on that responsibility!

Both of the tanks in my bus are stainless steel and are probably 25 years old.
