EPM = Engine Performance Montor. Some Barths have a simple relay connected to this switch to stop the engine under certain conditions. The ralay can be wired to keep the fuel solenoid energized (keep the engine running) only as long as oil pressure, oil, water temperature, etc., (whatever you like) are within limits, but to shut the engine down if they are not. Great if you want to keep the engine running unattended. Not so great when the switch or relay fails and stops the engine while you are driving.
