a low tech question--

just had our 1989 31 ft out for the first time and found some new switches that were not clear.

in kitchen under the counter top flip up extension there is a white push button switch and also with a toggle switch. for what use?

above the bedroom headboard in the bottom of the overhead storage there is another white push button switch. could'nt see what that did either.

thanks for any info

Kitchen switch might be water pump. Your guess is as good as mine. On my previous SOB I had a mystery switch inside a bathroom cabinet that turned out to be for the water pump when you went potty at night.

On my '86 the those were the locations of the "Panic Alarm" that set off the alarm horn and turned on the utility, patio, and docking lights. The two pushbuttons were white, circular, mounted flush in gold bezels. Bumped the button above the bed (underside of the overhead cabinet) one time at oh-dark-thirty AM; we still remember the event and the neighbors in the RV Park where we were overnighting. Took me a long time to figure out what was happening and even longer to remember how to turn it off.

I have a toggle switch in the cabinet under the counter that turns on the electric element in the water heater.

I haven't found anything that looks like a "panic button", but I do have a "Beware of Golden Retrievers" sign to ward off intruders.
