Got this ad from PPL today and want to make sure these are good converters and which one I need. I have 2 house and 1 chassis batteries. No 12v on fridge, all 12v lights inside. 79 Barth Classic

I have the 45 amp model. I got it nearly 2 years ago. Works great. I have 2 coach batteries no 12v frig or inverter. If you have higher needs 60 amp would work fine. I leave the convertor plugged in most all the time, I have never had to add water. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

Thanks Steve. The main reason I'm getting a new one is the smart charger. I've cooked batteries dry before I knew what I was doing, and I like to keep the coach plugged in. I'm thinking for a 10 buck difference going to the 60. Any cons to this? 79 Barth Classic

No cons at all, for ten bucks it's worth it. If you dry camp off the grid and must run the generator to charge the batteries, if you have large batteries and several 12v appliances you can charge the batteries quicker with the generator and higher amp unit. If you are usually plugged in and don't run the batteries down far, you do't need many amps. Extra amps is good, especially cheap amps. Charge Wizard really works. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

We have the 60 Amp version and the Intellicharger in our 85 Regal. Works like a champ. Keeps those house batteries just fine. Been able to get over 8 years from the Optima batteries.

Ditto. In addition to the "Smart Charge" capability is its desulfating routine that runs daily.
