Does anyone have an idea of where Barth put the leveler sensor? On my SOB it was mounted to the underside of the coach floor about mid ships. I need to adjust it because the HWH shows level when the front is about 2 bubbles low, but I can't find it.

It is located about mid-ship behind the fueltank on our breakaway. Also centered left to right.

Wow! Is that the four drawer set next to the refrigerator or under the stove? I would never have found it.

I love learning this stuff, but I don't have any idea what a leveler sensor is. Well, I have a small idea. Is there a readout somewhere? Does it operate in conjunction with the leveling jacks?

Thanks and pardon my ignorance.

Steve, the leveling sensor is the device that causes the l.e.d.'s to light on the leveling jack panel indicating which side is low. The level sensor on our vintage coaches are not very sensitive but they can be upgraded to a much more sensitive replacement that can be purchased from HWH for a couple hundred dollars. BTW: Ours was located under the sofa, I have relocated the replacement to the run panel compartment, that is the left front with all of the 12 volt goodies in it.

Thanks Billy. I'm just learning the ins and outs of the leveler jacks. A retraction spring just broke on one of them, but I had some spares. I will look into the HWH product after I locate the sensor on my coach.

So, how do you adjust a leveler sensor? I found mine under the stove.

A second leveler question: If I drop my leveler jacks on soft ground and they extend too far, the springs break. I have new springs but they still break.

How can I protect against spring break? Weld large steel plates on the bottom of the leveler jack feet so they don't extend so far?

Steve

Make a set of pads (or buy some) and place them under the jacks. I made 2x12x20" out of treated lumber and carry them in the coach.

Good option. Maybe I could have 1/4 inch steel plate cut 12 X 12 or even 8 x 8.
