Jim & Barbturn signal control unit
Does anyone know what turn signal control unit was used on the 1985 Barth Regency?
It appears to be that of a GM product.
When I took my Barth to the RV service center to have the awning checked, I think one of the workers yanked on it thinking it was the tilt wheel arm (both are very close to each other).
I noticed it had extra "play" in it. Upon checking further the right turn signal will not flash. I have checked out the bulbs and flasher cans, all good and the system flashes on the 4-way flasher. The problem seems to be in the turn signal unit. The left side will work and sometimes it will show a faint glow (in the indicator blub)when the right turn is used, however it will go away quickly.

Tom and JulieIt's probably a GM standard tilt wheel. Just go to your local junk yard and get one to replace it. They are almost universal throughout the entire GM line.

Jim & BarbKevin,
Thanks for sending the switch.
I used a spring from mine, cut two wires off it as not needed on mine. Made two splices put it all back together and have a turn signal switch
working just like it's new.
My turn signal arm must have had a lot of pressure put to it. Where it connected was badly split causing the holding screw to be almost pulled out.
Once again I will say that Barthmobile.com and it's members are the best.
