I can’t really tell from your picture but a popular upgrade back then, and maybe still, was the Jet Air rear suspensions Jet Air Billy & Helen Thibodeaux Retired from Billy Thibodeaux's Premiere RV, Inc. I don't think your suspension was a Barth factory option. Early coaches with unusual suspensions, ie tag axles, had air bag tag axle suspensions built by Neway Axle. Barth had some frame extensions and tag axles installed by a local subcontractor. Yours may have been "factory modified" very early as well. Your suspension sounds really nice. Should ride well and adjust to load changes well. Let us know when you identify your components, it would be great to have more info! 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp | |||
