I have a 88Barth 33se P30 Gasser. I plan to do alot of dry camping in Canada next summer and I'm interested in a Solar system. How many panels and batteries will I need. Can I move the engine batter to another location? Thanks Gerry

Every camper is different. Start with two 6 volt golf cart batteries (check room) and two panels. Measure or calculate your usage. Do a Google search on solar rv. There is a lot of good info on the sellers sites. They will advise you, too. Here are a few: http://www.amsolar.com/ www.kyocerasolar.com www.sunelco.com http://bart.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volta.htm ------------------------ Rvers guide to Solar battery Charging (book) 1- 800- 999-8520 --------------------------- Managing 12 Volts (book) 1-800- 247-6553 ------------------------------ www.uuhome.de/william.darden ---------------------------------------- www.rvsolarelectric.com ---------------- www.windsun.com -------------------------------- www.solar.realgoods.com --------------------- www.batterystuff.com ---------------- www.phrannie.org/battery.html ------------------------ http://members.aol.com/wb3lgc/solar.htm --------------- www.solarseller.com --------------------------- www.backwoodssolar.com ------------ www.oksolar.com If your engine battery is sealed, it can be located anywhere. If not, it needs to breathe.
