Mine came with the Panasonic version of the 13 w/ vcr and I have put an upgrade way down on the list of things we need. We're not full timers and watching the tube is about the last thing we want to do when we're Barthing. If you're really into TV there's nothing wrong with wanting a fine unit, but for us it would just be a status thing and we don't spend our bucks like that. BTW, we have the Zygorthian deathstar stabilizer wing crank up unit for an antenna and it seams to work pretty good.

We DON'T watch much either, but good to tune in to the NEWS & WEATHER, and maybe a RACE now and then. Mainly want to upgrade a system that has paid it dues, and works KIND-OF.

I do ALL my own work and will enjoy making the cabinet to hold same.

We all beat to our OWN drum. Isn't FREEDOM GREAT?

Good job Robert!

I replaced mine also. I don't watch much TV but, in my case, the old TV was a bit in the way when entering. After banging my head twice, I decided it had to go before I loose the few remaining hairs I still have. Smiler
