What would be involved in upgrading a 3208T to a 3208TA? Cost? Would the 4-speed that is coupled to a 3208T take the extra horsepower? thanks Jim

What 4 speed? Also what all are you going to do. Just adding the A2A cooler will not add much. So need much more info. '92 Barth Breakaway - 30' 5.9 Cummins (6B) 300+ HP 2000 Allison Front entrance

I believe you have the same MT transmission I have in my Regency so it is probably fine. In addition to the engine you need an aftercooler and the different exhaust system. Everthing else seems to be the same, if you get all the parts - turbo, air cleaner, aftercooler, piping, and can add the gauge to the instrument panel. I would ask CAT dealer about this, they probably have seen this swap before. However you might find upgrading to a 3116 would be more reliable and a better long term investment. I expect you would only see about 20 or 30 hp increase. That is not much. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny
