Totally Lost -Wiring Question
I have a 30 amp Travel trailer and currently I'm hooked up to a 30 amp service that has my RV plug in and also two standard plug-ins which I use to run some power to a small shed that I have behind my camper. The 30 amp service does not provide enough power to my camper and to run the small refrigerator and lights in my shed. So, I am wanting to upgrade to a 50 amp service but not sure how that would work?? Can I have a 50 amp service and have 30 amps just for my camper and have 20 amps just for the shed, and if so, how in the heck would this get wired???

WOW! What are you growing in the shed?

A 50 amp circuit has 2 120vac legs so you have 240vac at the box.

If you need more information you may need to contact someone who knows electric circuits.

The low cost way would be to just run a dedicated 20 amp circuit to your shed. That would give you the full 30 amp for the trailer.

Welcome to the forums! Since you asked the question, it seems you don't have a lot of experience. Hire an electrician; wiring is not something to be done by anyone not familiar with electrical codes and safety.

Rusty's advice is: "The best advice you will get here." Sounds to me like your camper and shed will be up in smoke. Call the electrician before you need to call 911! Wink

How far is the shed from your breaker panel? Did you wire the circuit yourself? You could have voltage drop if too small a wire was used.
