Here is yet another questions from the newbie's...when hooked up to water and shore power do you run the Auto fill and the house pump at the same time...or just the auto fill? And when the Auto Fill is completed does it make a beeping electric sound that goes through the whole coach...is that normal? Also do you turn the hot water heater off when Auto fill is on? So far it has been trial and error. We want to be careful and not damage anything. The previous owner is too ill to advise us...so we are learning as we go. All helpful advice is appreciated.

Pump should always be off when you're hooked-up to outside water. You only need it whan you're using water from the tank.. Auto fill should usually be off. It is only for use if you want to fill your water tank automatically while you're hooked up. That's why they call it auto fill.

Auto fill should have no effect on the water heater.

Mine doesn't beep, but that doesn't mean yours won't. There's a lot of variation in these rigs.

Many people have reported problems with the auto fill. It has a solenoid valve that sometimes won't shut off when it's supposed to, and will overflow the water tank. Some have taken it out completely, and only fill their tank manually from outside.
