I have been reading the forum for a long time but haven't posted before. I have a 1984 35' regency with the 8.2 Detroit diesel.
I am going to replace the shocks. Are Bilstiens worth the extra $. the coach has Monroes on it now. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has.

Tim I am sorry you didn't get any responses. We do have a couple MCC experts who frequent the site, but they are probably doing what the rest of us should be doing, going on vacation. Do you know Les Hoagland, the worlds MCC expert. If not his number is 217-735-1536. What ever you use for shocks make sure that you buy them from Les. He may charge a little more but he makes parts that you are going to need in the future therefore by buying these other small things from him he can afford to continue supplying important axle and brake parts the the MCC owner.

I called Les at Motor Coach Restoration and he said Bilstien doesn't make a shock for my Barth. He recommended a hydraulic shock that he says works best on the independant suspension on the MCC chassis. I ordered a set from him and have installed them but haven't driven the rig yet .
