Larry you are very fortunate to be anywhere near Steve so that you can get his help in person. You have sure been busy getting new life into your newly-acquired Barth.

I salute Larry for his determination on the Barth project. He has done a ton of good work! Thumbs Up mechanic

Next time I tackle some insane project (crankshaft anyone?) I want Larry on my team!

Worked out great, I was able to share some of my experience with the 454 and 400 trans. I also got a chance to put some of my leftover parts into service and BM.com got some donation money to boot, win-win all around. (I was going to auction the carb and distributor at Milford but this was quicker and gets Larry going.)

Looks like we're building a Michigan chapter of the Barthmobile group! Maybe we should get together with the Ohio guys for a GTG in the area?

I think it's about time to burn that coverall... it will never be clean again... lots of Barth goo all over it! (My wife might prefer to bury me in it, hopefully not right away) ROTFLMAO

Larry,

That is great to have a visit from such a celebrity did you get his autograph? Haha! Steve is quite the Barth Guru I really enjoy reading the tutorials on his projects. Very through right ups with great pictures a real bonus for us Barth owners.

I'm finally getting back to working on my Barth its been sitting since last October, I started removing all the junk emission blowers and associated hardware then I found cracks in the welds on my exhaust manifold so I gave up for awhile, winter set in and than I just got super busy. But anyway finally repaired the manifold. So hopefully I'll be back to running soon.

Its great to get back on the Barth site and see what everyone has been up to.

I've been busy just reading all the projects you've been working on. Labor of love, I've found that laying under the Barth is really a great place to take a nap just ask any Barth owner.

This site is loaded with a lot of help from a lot of friendly folks, which looks like you have discovered.

Gotta love the carb cleaner smell, better than Old Spice!
